Phenomena such as Brexit and the advance of trade protectionism in several countries are symptoms of the slowdown in the globalization process. This is according to Marcos Troyjo, Diplomat and Professor at Columbia University. Although he considers that the globalization process is in a moment of deceleration, Troyjo points to a reglobalization in a medium-term horizon and says that Brazil must adapt in order not to take risks or lose opportunities in this global reconfiguration. 466a3n

On November 21st, 2017, these and other ideas were discussed during the seminar "Globalization Shock: Impacts on Brazil", at the headquarters of the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), in Rio de Janeiro.
