Honorary President of CEBRI, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, participated in the roundtable on March 20th "Brazil in a Changing World" at the event that marked the inauguration of the think tank's headquarters in Rio de Janeiro. Cardoso highlighted the importance of defining directions for Brazilian politics, both domestically and in the field of international relations. According to the Honorary President, the ability to debate as well as guaranteeing an improvement in living conditions to the population, are of utmost importance, albeit difficult to achieve for most Brazilians.

The new technologies, according to the Former President, are fundamental in understanding the current world, allowing exchanges between people and challenging the role of party institutions and organizations, among other agents of society.
